The following provisions set out the terms and conditions on which you may make use of our website, whether as a guest or a registered user.


In order to use some of the services on this site, you will need to register. You will be required to provide accurate and current information about yourself. Please review our section on privacy policy.


In order to make purchases through this site you will be required to register and provide your personal details. When ordering items you will be required to provide payment details, confirm that the payment details you provide are valid and correct, and confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information.

Purchases made on this site are for the personal or gift use of the buyer and not for re-sale or commercial purposes.

By making a purchase on www.tannerandoak.com, you authorise us to authenticate your identity and validate your payment.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices shown on our site are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. We do not offer VAT refunds on items sold to the Channel Islands.

Tanner&Oak will not be responsible for any import duties on International orders. Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. Unless you cancel your order the completion of your contract with Tanner&Oak will be on shipment of your goods.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event that we are unable to authorise your payment, that the item is out of stock, or the product does not reach our quality control standards.


Payment can be made by credit or debit card. Payment will be debited from your account upon receipt of your order, confirmation that the card being used is yours and that you have permission to use it.

We take all reasonable care to make sure our site as secure as possible. Card transactions on this site are processed by HSBC Merchant Bank Service.

Please note that the dispatch estimates indicated above are merely estimates and not guarantees. International delivery times will be dependent on the destination.

We endeavour to dispatch your order on the day of receipt if placed before 1.30pm. For guaranteed next day delivery it is necessary to place your order before 1pm. If your order is received after this time, over the weekend or on a public holiday, then it will be dispatched the next business day.

We usually deliver using Royal Mail. Where this is not possible we will use alternative couriers.

In the event of an item being out of stock we will inform you by email, and indicate when the product will be back in stock. You will have the opportunity to cancel this item from your order if you wish.

Where the carrier fails to make a delivery to you, either because you were unavailable at the address at the time of delivery, or did not collect the parcel within the allotted time, and the product is returned to us, we will make a small charge of £5 to cover the costs we incur. Upon receiving your returned order we will refund the cost of the item, minus the charge. We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the carrier has failed to notify you of an attempted delivery. In this instance, please contact the carrier directly.

In the unlikely event that your order does not arrive, please note that Royal Mail does not consider it lost until 21 days from dispatch. Unfortunately, we cannot resend the item until this time has elapsed.


In the event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please return it to us for exchange or refund within 28 days. We can exchange or refund any item which is in its original condition with a copy of your original invoice and a completed returns form.

Please note that any customs or import duties incurred when returning your item are your responsibility.

Please fill out and enclose the Returns Form using the addressed sticker (Returns Department, Tanner & Oak, Hunts Lodge, 105b Manor Road, Woodstock, Oxford, OX20 1XS). Once received, the return will be processed within 5 working days and an email sent confirming receipt.

Returning your item is your responsibility until it reaches us. The cost of returning your item is your responsibility, unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend that you use a postal or delivery service that insures you up to the value of your item and that is trackable. We cannot provide refunds or exchanges on products that are lost in the post whilst being returned to us.

Any product faults considered to be fair wear and tear are not eligible for refund.
